Things that Pop into my Head 
Going out for Sunday Lunch on Mothers Day has got to be on a par with popping out for a quiet evening meal on Valentines Day. As Hubby was starting a new job on Monday and we hadn't been out to lunch for ages, we (well, me) decided to go out for lunch to celebrate. We plumped for the Ruffwell Lodge about 15 mins drive away cos it does great food AND there's Budweiser on tap! We only just got in (someone just cancelled before we rang) so off we pottered at 2. Blimey it was busy, people everywhere. Luckily our table was in a corner so we could eat our (delicious) carverys and sip bud in relative peace. Overall it made a nice change, but perhaps I'll avoid going out on Mothers Day next time..... thinking about it we should have made the 2hr drive to see the folks and avoided the £7.99 flower delivery charge EACH for both Mums lol We did pop in to Bridge Motorcyles on the way home and was tempted by a Suzuki GSX 1400 .... but will wait til next year, sigh.
