Petrol prices are on the drop again, thanks to a decrease in oil prices. The lowest I've found is 111.9p at Trago's in Newton Abbot - as my friend said to me, ya can't beat Trago.

Further to Kims musings about swapping in the Bentley for a new Land Rover, it turns out, they may just about to be taken over.

Following Kims blog about buying a new Land Rover, they may well be about to become Indian owned.

Apparently Tata Motors, an Indian car company is poised to buy it and Jaguar from Ford as they're not doing so well having already sold off Aston Martin and Hertz car rentals.

I haven't noticed any talk about it in the Landrover forums yet and Land Rover Owners International don't seem to have picked it up yet either. I wonder if it will affect them in any way, or maybe they will just bimble along regardless of who own them.

Personally I hope this won't signal the end for Land Rover, even Jeremy Clarkson raved about the Defender after his adventure up to the top of a Welshmountain. That was great viewing!
