Blog: Things that Pop into my Head

Decorating your house is an ongoing task. As soon as you've been once around, its time to start over.

Usually I only spend money in the sales, when I can convince myself I'm getting a good price. These days it seems that there is a never ending supply of sale items - invariably there are clearance items, managers specials etc in most outlets.

Compare Prices - Make Sure Its A Bargain

Changing the light shades in a room can totally change the feel of it I think, when I want to update a room, that's one of the first things I look for as its a fairly cheap thing to do and easy to apply when you get it home.

I don't actually mind painting too much once I get started, its the rubbing down of door frames and skirting boards which is annoying, messy and hurts after a while.

It often amazes me the deals that you can get in Living room furniture, it seems you buy 1 item, get another half price, which also comes with a free accessory.
