Blog: Things that Pop into my Head

It's October tomorrow by jingo, which means it's nearly that time of year when we all spend too much on pressies, booze and food.

I dont' mind christmas persai, not into the religious stuff, but as an excuse to get together with family, eat and drink a bit too much, its cool.

As the years are passing, I'm getting older and its increasingly difficult to know what to ask for as a present. This year myself and my sister have come to a no-pressie agreement to save money passing round in circles. Just the rest of the family to convince now lol

This year, both of us need all new motorbike stuff, which isn't cheap. I'm thinking I may try and get a 0% interest credit card to put it on as if we buy it all at once, even in the sales, we won't be able to pay it off in 1 month.

Talking of sales, thats the other thing that helps me build up a nice healthy credit card balance (for the credit card company). Nearly irrestible bargains abound, especially things like Silly Billys laptops which are continually dropping anyway and its all too easy to hand over the plastic.
