Happy New Year everyone! I'm sorry its slightly belated, but I'm just about getting myself back together again after the festivities.

My xmas went something like this.....

My sister picked me up from Exeter on her way down to Cornwall to see Mum and Dad. We then went for a few drinks in the evening and had quite a good catch-up natter. We don't see each other very often and are both rubbish at phoning, so it was nice toget a couple of hours to chat. Its weird going back to where you grew up, we saw a couple of people in the pub that we went to school with 18years ago. I ended up doing the corny 'Hi, don't I know you from somewhere?' line cos the staring was starting to get a bit obvious lol.

Meanwhile my other half was on nights and finished his 12hr shift at 6am xmas day. He then drove down to his Mums and cooked xmas lunch/dinner, I arrived there just in time to open pressies before lunch was ready. Poor hubby got to bed at 1pm and slept through til 8. It was then that his xmas cold kicked in.

Boxing Day we spent with my parents and sister, then a short visit to grandparents on the way back on the 27th. Eating far too much chocolate and generally doing not a lot then ensued and we spent New Years Eve at a neighbours party. I left at 4am and hubby rolled in at about 6.

Its soon time for Chris the christmas tree to be recycled and decorations to come down.... phew is all I can say.
