Looking Good Behind The Wheel

For some, having the right gear to match your car or bike is an important quest. Especially if there is a motorsport heritage.

Choosing Motorbike Gear

Being a motorcyclist myself, I have seen plenty of people agonise for hours about which jacket/helmet/gloves goes best with their bike - a salesman told me once that men are much worse for this than women.

Motorbike clothing is as much about protecting the rider as anything else which makes it quite expensive to start with. If you then want the same gear as Rossi that will hike up the price even more.

Car Motorsport Clothing

If you're more into your sport cars, then you can't get a much better pedigree than Audi. They have just won Le Mans for the 8th time in 9 years and won the both the American and European Le Mans series', not to mention competing in the DTM.

It's no wonder they have such a strong following and their fans are all proud to be kitted out in the latest Audi accessories when cheering from the stands.

Of course, it's not compulsory to dress up in branded gear to enjoy motorsport events, but it does make you feel more connected to your heroes.

Woo! Another Bomb Scare In Exeter

Source: hazel eyes
Monday 1st December 2008, 3:21pm

6 months after the first attempted bombing in Exeter city centre, could someone slightly more competent be trying to bomb Barclays?

At 1215 the high street was once again evacuated as bomb disposal officers rushed to investigate a suspicious suitcase left outside Barclays Bank.

By 2pm it was all over though and no toilets were damaged. It turns out some poor guy had forgotten his suitcase and it got reported to the police by a passer by.

It appears they are taking it a bit more seriously these days, not like the time a mate of mine discovered a suspicious looking package and was told by the cop to 'kick it and see if it explodes'.
