Source: hazel eyes Not where you have breakfast, a new lap dancing club in Exeter Reading JCS's blog about motoring orgasms reminded me of a completely unrelated experience I had at the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. My hubby and I had met up with another couple for dinner and after consuming a few drinkies and cocktails it was suggested that we round off the evening by going to Tiffany's, so off we trotted. Decor was animal prints and dark red everywhere, it also featured a cage and a pole for the girls to perform with, a seating area and alcoves for the private dances. The girls did their stuff either on the pole or in the cage and when they weren't performing, they mingled and we had a chat to a couple of them. It was ok for something different, but I don't reckon I'll be back any time soon. Even my hubby said similar, but he did have a huge grin on his face after his private dance lol. Source: hazel eyes Apparently the South West is the place to be for industry. Doing a bit of digging about on the interwebs to see what sort of careers are available in the Sunny South West. According to the South West Regional Development Agency its bloomin marvelous for things like advanced engineering, ict, food and drink and the like. I knew that Bristol was pretty successful, but I didn't realise it was the 2nd most affluent city after London. I know SWRDA is bound to be a bit biased as that's its job - to sell the South West, but if pasty making is not for you, try nanotechnology at a Uni or boating stuff at one of the Marine Skills Centres. Source: hazel eyes Parts of the new Princesshay development in Exeter are officially open, including some restaurants and cafes. New doesn't necessarily mean better..... Just thought I'd share my experience of the new La Tasca Spanish Tapas restaurant in Exeter, it wasn't good. My experience is that usually when a new restaurant is opened, experienced staff would be on hand to train and guide the new ones, maybe even before it opens its doors *gasp*. No evidence of that happening here, they all seemed to be in over their heads with noone to ask for help. The service as slow and poor, we had to ask for everything twice it seemed as things were forgotten. The food (once it arrived) wasn't any better either, everything was drenched in oil peple with more experience of Spanish food than me said it was some of the worst tapas they had ever had. I can only hope that they improve considerably in the next few months, but in the mean time, if you do find yourself hungry in the Princesshay area of Exeter, avoid La Tasca!
