Chicago police officer Christopher Elliott is being hailed as a hero after he revived a choking toddler around Wednesday night.

Chicago police officer Christopher Elliott is being hailed as a New Era 59Fifty hero after he revived a choking toddler around Wednesday night.

NBC Chicago reports that Elliott had been writing a traffic crash report near the intersection of New Era Fitted Diversey and Western in the city's Logan Square neighborhood when a man ran up to his car, tapped on the glass and asked for the officer to come to the 15-month-old boy's aid. The child's parents informations about NFL jerseys did not speak very much English but Elliott went immediately into action to save him.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Elliott proceeded to administer CPR by doing chest compressions on the child and turned the boy over in order to clear out food that had been blocking his airway. The boy then began to Cheap online kids shoes shop. breath on his own before an ambulance arrived on the scene and took him to the hospital, where he was checked out before being released Thursday morning.

\"I've choked before. I know New Era Hats what that feels like. It feels like you can't breathe, you can't move, you're like stuck,\" Elliott told WLS. \"The baby looked stuck, and the ma says 'not breathing.'\"

Elliott is a Polish immigrant and a 4-year veteran of the police force, the Sun-Times reports. In addition to his work as a police officer, he iscurrently attending school with the hopes of teaching math part-time.
