Glucosamine is found naturally in joints, cartilage and synovial fluid and as a natural dietary supplement has little or no side effects unlike NSAIDS and COX-11 inhibitors. Many vets recommend doubling the dosage of glucosamine for dogs in the first 2-3 weeks of treatment to engage a more rapid healing process. Glucosamine can be used for human arthritis treatment, but never give your dog human medication without consulting your vet first.

1 Glucosamine for dogs comes in 4 different types:-

• Glucosamine Hydrochloride (HCI) is the most advanced form of glucosamine, providing 40% more pure glucosamine per gram.

3 How the joint supplements are supplied:-
