Digging the dirt An alternative to CO2 taxes? As some of you are already aware about my views on the CO2 'con', but you still want to look at related issues, then it may be worth your while to visit ecoinsurance. This is part of the Co-operative Insurance which provides offers for those who are CO2 aware. It provides you with the conventional car insurance services, but will also offset 20% of your car's CO2 emissions. As well as the carbon offset it also lists a 10% discount for tax band A cars and an eco-friendly repair network who recycle certain car parts. As in all cases when quoting from a financial site, please be aware that offers are date related and remember to check any footnotes on the site. In my view this is a far better service / option than more government taxes. Spread the Word
