Climate Change - Time to Act?

Interesting to read in the New Scientist an article that highlighted the state of denial with regard to climate change. Sceptics it seems are amusing themselves with global warming myths pretending there is no impact of climate change and lily livered governments are happy to propogate these untruths thereby shirking their responsibility and commitment to reducing CO2 emissions and addressing climate change.

We've had a week of snow in the UK and I for one am delighted!

When I was a lad two or three heavy snowfalls happened each winter. Schools didn't close - kids just arrived late covered in snow and keen to dry gloves on the hot water pipes.

This recent batch of snow has been reported as being the "worst" for 18 years. How marvelous it was to see stranded commuters to try the long lost art of building snow-people (there should be a how to video for this).

You dont have to be a climate dummy to appreciate what we would lose if global warming meant no snow ever again.
